Help Help with Garuda!!!

Okay, after browsing for hours on how to kill this boss, all they say is "get the Eskir Berries that you get from the mini quest and the moogle says that Garuda doesn't like it" this description might help a lot of you but in my opinion, it is not helpful at all!! there are millions of moogles in the game and mini-quests, I am so lost!! Where are the Eskir Berries, right now I am right by Garuda, where the shop is. My characters range from level 11-17 and I got them to use Water. I have looked everywhere yet, I can't find the Eskir berries, so please give me a good description on how to get them.

Getting the Eskir berries doesn't really help you that much in the battle anyway, but that's just how I saw it.

There's actually a pretty long sidequest involved in getting the Eskir berries.

Whenever you get to the part of the story where you have to go to the Tomb of King Raithwall, before you can go into the tomb, you have to battle the Garuda. Earlier in the Urutan-Yensa sandsea save area there is a moogle talking to a Urutan. walk up and talk to the moogle. he says that the Uratan was asking for help, that there is a giant beast killing the Urutan. go off in the direction of the Urutan for about 2 areas, and you'll see them fighting a giant turtle. help kill the turtle and then go back and tlak to the moogle. he said that the Urutan that asked for help went into the other sandsea (the one you originally started in). go back into the sandsea for a little ways and you'll see a short scene, go back to the moogle to see the Urutan that asked for help be completely disintegrated by the Urutan queen. where his body was is a peck of flowers, these flowers have berries growing from them. pick those berries and continue to the Tomb. at the tomb when the fight witht the Garuda initiates use the berries on the Garuda. this will take about 20% of his life. then use the biggest quickening chain you can. after that constantly use water spells on the Garuda. he should be dead in a very short round of turns.

Other than that, Garuda is weak to Dark and Telekenisis magic. Garuda is flying, so you'll need to either use lots of magic or long-ranged weapons. Quickenings, if needed, and in chains, will also weaken him faster.

There's always the option of going back and leveling up, as well.
 
Quickenings are Limit Break attacks, special attacks used by a character to deal
extra damage. When used, time stops and the attack occurs. You can also bring
your other 2 characters in and chain together everyone's Quickenings to create an ulta-powerful attack, and if youre lucky, cause a huge Concurrence attack at the end. Also, once used, Quickenings drain all mana depending on what Rank they are.

There's also a glitch you can use to get up to three bunches of Eksir Berries.
