i am currently in the underground tunnels where you have to fight the mimics an keep the charge. i have absolutely no problem until i get to the part where the flans appear. when that happens there is four of them three zombies and a battery mimic that i have to fight all at once. i either die or the charge drops to zero and then i die.

Hit the Flan with magic attacks, that'll kill them faster. If you haven't already, I'd recommend having healing as your highest priority Gambit as well, for all of your characters, although at varying degrees of intensity - one at 70%, one at 50%, etc etc.

It could just be that you need to level up a little, though. Training in that area is pretty good if you let the power drop all the way down and let the skeletons come out - you can build up a chain really quickly and get a lot of decent items as a result, and the EXP they yield isn't too bad either...backtrack a couple of zones and you can just keep repeating the process. IIRC, there is a save point right in the middle of that area, as well. Have you passed that yet? If you run low on health, you can just run back to it.

Thank you soooooo much, that made my day. Shuda learned that lesson from ffx.
and just not to start a new thread. Ive died 15 times against the queen mimic, any tips?

Ignore the smaller ones, they just respawn anyway - you might want to set up a Gambit that has your allies attacking the same enemy as you, so they don't waste time and energy. I'd suggest having two of your characters smack it with Blizzard, with the third attacking it normally - keep them back for healing duty.

If you keep dying after that, I can only really recommend you grind a few more levels. What level are you at the moment?

Thanks for the help. i am at level ten mainly, but like an idiot i haven't touched the license board since rabenaster (spelling?). I got some weapons with allot more power and some good armor and all of my characters have access to cure now. but the blizzard worked. and it really helped that bausch hit it ten times in a row.

That might not be as bad a thing as you might think...after all, spending LP conservatively isn't a bad strategy. No sense buying licenses for things when you don't have access to them.

I'm a grinding freak, so I was around level 15 when I fought the boss, but you should be high enough to win if you all attack it.
