could someone help me out with training in the volcano?

i cant manage to beat any monsters in there

the gaze attack always misses me and if i am to build up speed and strength what should i lower?

I almost forgot you need to build up your DEX so you can land more hits and you use magic on the red flan

5 magic 85 speed 45 dextirity

Ahem. *cough* Master your magic, its your better bet. Even if you
do have the strength, speed, and dex to land hits. Its easier to master magic,
because once it is mastered... You are able to hit the monsters with a high
percent ratio. Also, magic is stronger once mastered.

and stock up on potions and ether you don't want to be a sitting duck once your MP runs out.

Agreed with that , just wanna add something to it

First kill REDFLANs if there are any in the party. If you kill others and redflans be alive, they will use hi potions without any doubt. Also , if you d=faced Fire wyrn kill it too, it will use that as well.

Blizara is perfect for them, kills pyrolisks without letting them have any HP left ( if you have MAG upgrades )

Just remember though, this is when it starts to get hard. It'll get real hard from the next cave onwards.
