Ohai der! Welcome to Final Fantasy Forums. Post around and meet all the idiots and cool people, all one in the same. 
You can utilize the shoutbox on the home page to talk to people who are also on the front page. This forum's pretty different than others; it's got a post-based game called Final Fantasy: PvP (Player Vs. Player) If you'd like to get in on the action, make a character, and sign for the next battle, just click my signature image to go to the PvP Demo thread introductory page. I'm currently typing up a Frequently Asked Questions thread for the PvP, so any questions you may have should be covered there once I post the thread. However, at the moment, just send anyone with a PvP Tag similar to the one I have as my signature image a Private Message asking anything you need to get started, or to clarify any confusion. The formula to make a character is this...
1. At the PvP Demo thread, pick your desired character class and sprite. Then go into your computer and open up a new Notepad document. Copy and paste your desired character class and sprite number. For instance, the female ninja sprite is 2/2. Second choice, of two availible sprites. See?
2.) Click the link at the bottom of that page and pick your gear, copying and pasting each item in that Notepad file you opened in the beginning.
3.) Post all information typed this way into a reply in the PvP Demo thread. The user named Janus will create your character.
To register for the next battle, send me a message and I'll tell you how.
Each player gets an opportunity to post a request for a PvP Tag that they customize using the PvP Player Tag thread I created. Post your preferences, and in about 10 minutes of me seeing the reply, I'll have it posted for you to put as your signature image, linking anyone who sees it to the PvP Demo. See? Advertising.
