I was so close today i was on the last level of Sonic and Knuckles the game as sonic and this boss kill me after i kill him.

yes it does it took 2 hours just to die at the end becuase you can't save either i almost lost it

yeah if i remeber that the Chaos emeralds and the Sol emeralds are the same am i right

the sol emeralds are from a different dimension and if you have played sonic rush you find out that blaze is the guardian of them like knuckles guards the chaos emeralds

Knuckles guards the Master Emerald

which when broken becomes the seven chaos emeralds which knuckles attempts to reclaim so he can rebuild the master emerald
