Considering the power of Loz and Yazoo it is safe to say they were deadly, especially from the range fired. And there is at low chance of surviving a close range shot to the back, magic only lowers the chance. Although Cloud is powerful he is still human, Jenova was removed from him courtesy of Aeris so he was quite likely to die from it.
 
jonova is still in him it is just mindless now so cloud has control of the cells and also close range don't mean death or near death to be infact usually it helps
 
Not necessarily, and why would Jenova become 'mindless' after being purified by Aerith? And how would a close range shot give you a higher probablilty of survival?
 
easy the higher thurse would make the bullet hold together longer which is the reall cause of death no a days
 
Yes but bullets weren't really being used were they? They were firing magic bullets so the effect of the bullet would not count for anything.
 
yea but the spell would not be as strong due to the time needed to create the ability
 
But spells require no range, the effect is the same. Only melee attacks will have their damage affected by distance. At any rate bullets are worse at long range, especially with accuracy and power.
