You got to be kidding that there is no thread on this. Anyways Halo 3 ODST takes place during the Metropolis in Halo 2. You are no longer Master Chief. The player takes the role as the Rookie. He is an ODST. New guns and all new campaign. ODST will ship with 24 maps. The original 11and the map packs. But I hope this game has Xbox live matchmaking.
 
It will do, any FPS or similar game released now has multiplayer, and if a game has multiplayer then it has online capabilities.
I'll probably end up getting it, but I'm not desperate to play it. I'll pass stronger judgment once I've seen some gameplay shots.
 
So its only 11 days away folks! So who is planning on buying Halo 3 ODST? Lots of new info came up on Halopedia infact almost anything. The acheivements are all up! Also Firefight looks really really good. I think everyone will be on the beta of Reach though.
 
I haven't gotten this game because I'm still waiting for my Xbox to be shipped out to me. I'm still debating on whether or not to get this game though since I really love the Halo games, but I'm more about the Multiplayer feature more than anything else online, and at my current base, we don't have Live capability.

I've seen a buncha people playing ODST already around here and they love it, but I'm still on the fence whether it will be a purchase for me or not. My guess is I'll just borrow it from someone and when it goes down to like $30 or $40 in a few years, I'll nab it.
 
Busta the game is fucking awesome. It has firefight which is 4 people online well you can have up to 4. Its great cause like you need it to get the recon armor lol if you care. Also some of the vidmasters not to mention endure. ENDURE IS FUCKING HELL ITSELF. I got it yesterday cause we played hardcore like no joke! Also YUou need ODST if you wanna participate in the Halo reach beta. Also if you want all the maps free the mythic disc grants you all!

I quite enjoy the game myself honestly.
I'm still working for Firefight achievements and the last Vidmaster Challenge
 
I wanna get it purely for the Firefly voice cast and the fact Nathan Fillion is actually in the game as himself in pixel form :D Its gone down in price, but Im still 50/50 with getting it.
