No WoW for me, thank you, I'm playing a much better and more fun MMO. :3

So yeah, I have all 4 games (Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall and Eye of the North) and I run a Ranger and an Elementalist as mains while I experiment with other classes. I'm a Luxon and I'm part of a fun guild with Il Lupo Assassino, aka Jon. >:3

We're the Western Dragons. Rawr.

So, anyone else play? :D

I've been playing since the game first game out. I have 6 year old elementalist, a 5 year old ritualist, a 4.5 year old dervish, and a few other characters who aren't very noteworthy. I've done just about everything, minus a small number of things and currently, I'm just trying to fill my HoM as much as I can to prepare for GW2. I only need 2 more points to get all the items that will be available. I'm sitting at 28/50, and 30 is the last level that will give you items.

I'm part of a guild based out of the forums that used to be known as gwonline.net. I have to say, I would be kinda neat to run into some fellow guildmates here in this forum, but somehow, I highly doubt that would happen.

D: Oh jeez man, make me feel insignificant, why don't you, lol. I'm barely 11 months into the game, haha.

I played that game since about a month or two after release in 2005 up until just after 2008. After that, a lot of my friends quit playing, and I eventually drifted off. I played through Prophecies and Factions as a Necromancer, but with the release of Nightfall I made a Paragon who I beat Nightfall and Eye of the North with, as well as re-beating the two previous campaigns with. I also did some rated Hero Battles as Assassin, though I was never too good at that.

Part of the reason I stopped playing actually was after I heard GW2 was announced, and that there wasn't going to be any more content added to the game. Good game though, it's a lot better than WoW from a storyline point of view, which is what I like in games.

ArenaNet's already come out and debunked that. There will be content added, just not that much, and the servers will keep on running even after GW2 is out. They've already added a lot of interesting stuff.

Indeed, that was mostly just in reference to expansion packs. I do still log on once in a blue moon for events (can never resist Wintersday) and to try out any new quests. After Utopia was cancelled, I just sort of assumed that there wasn't going to be anything worth sticking around for, though the Guild Wars Beyond content has gone some way towards proving me wrong.

True enough but GW2 will be coming eventually and it looks sweet. I mean... we get to play as Charr. That was sorta enough for me. I love those crazy guys. But I'm partial to the Norn too. It should be pretty fun.
