Hey thought it would be fun to see how many ideas of plots and stuff we can come up with..

we already know its to do with crystals and 2 places..

any ideas on governments (ie. shrina) bad guys.. ect...?
 
Well if it's a traditional FF, unlike FFXII...
Main character falls in love, saves the world, and get's the girl/guy.

But from the looks of it...this plot won't be very romantic either.
 
romance is nice... but after having so many romances... no thanks

but one bad guy who wants the power over something always works

lets hope they use decent music... that makes up a lot
makes sceneries a lot more emotional
 
A bad guy comes and steals Lightning's lunch money. Afterwards she summons Shiva and morphs her into a tractor, so she can plow fields to regain the money...

I'm not sure actually. I thought it was about invading forces and her trying to fend them off. I thought she was acting as part of a federation, kind of like how you acted as a merc in FFVIII.
 
Lightning has to be the sacrificial mercenary so to say as Aztec put it, that rids the Cocoon world of the Pulse threat and she can free those who are really innocent but are being accused. I have a feeling the Governing body on Pulse is corrupt behind closed doors just like FFXII's was in ways.
 
Yea really. I hope they make a game where the main characters hometown isn't destroyed... Zanakard really got the short end of that stick.
 
I want them to make something refreshing, something that hasn't been done yet. And hopefully no politics involved. >.< A little romance wouldn't hurt too. ^_^

Anyway, it'd be nice to have a cool bad guy. Like Sephiroth. But hopefully something more new and tougher than Sephiroth. You know, make the gameplay so that the players can feel the main character's dilemma.
 
Politics is a big thing in everyday life, IRL or in a game, so I wouldn't be surprised if I saw some included.

They'll probably make the summons more retarded, like they have done with Shiva.

Storywise? I don't know. I need to know more background detail about characters first to make a judgement.
 
i have no idea how this game is going to go but it is will be great
but i want everything to be new in this game i dont want anything to be repeated
 
Well, afte watching the trailer several times (just can't get enough), i finally noticed how fast the sun moves when lightning is looking up at the sky, and wondered: maybe while they are trying to capture her, that a crisis is also going on that has to do with the destruction of those crystals, and it's ruining the cocoon area, but that government is trying to cover it up. just a thought

Hmm, that's true. It's just that I hate politics so much and since this is a Final Fantasy game, it wouldn't hurt if they make the storyline more "fantasy" than "reality". You know, to kinda like take our minds off from the real world (politics) and relax our mind into the fantasy world. XD

But I don't know, you may be right. They'll most likely include politics because there seems to be a trend now ever since X came out. Or well, atleast I think that's when it started. Or well, a friend said that there was some politics in VII, but not that hardcore.

And it really depends on the head developer too. I say, if they're going to include politics, I hope they make it interesting and not as boring. =/ And since XIII seems too futuristic...it'll most likely include politics. Period. Oh well. I guess a little wouldn't hurt.^_^
