Graphics vs. Storyline

I think that graphics don't matter in the game. Even though it does give a certain adrenaline. FF7 is a great story and no one cared about graphics back then beacause it was PS1.

I never thought 7's plot was great, but I see where you're coming from.

Lately it seems like graphics is a huge docus, and can you blame them? The gamers these days can't stand any lewss than HD beautiful graphics. Bah, I'm just happy with regular DVDs. >.>

i mean i like XII but for me character devolpment is huge in rpgs i mean you have like 40 hours of time to tell a story so you should get in depth into the story and i'm not neccesarily saying that there is a direct corrilation between story line and graphics it just seems that they're focusing more on graphics than storyline is it so much to ask for both (which i know a lot of you love the newer games and i do to maybe i just have too high expectations because for me anyway VII was the climax)

I don't really have anything against the recent storylines the FF series has thrown at us, they just seem to be more mature and real-world focused and political instead of being centered on dungeons and dragons.

I would prefer a GREAT story however as opposed to drop dead gorgeous graphics. I mean FFXII's graphics were fairly good, but I preferred a story like FFV's and FFVI's to FFXII. Like I said, I loved FFXII, but I felt more enthralled in other games' stories as opposed to this one.

No one ever cares about the graphics if it doesn't have a decent storyline. Yeah you might say "Bloody hell the graphics are good." But if it has no decent storyline eventually they'll get pissed and quit playin
