Still a beginner when it comes to PS so don't rip into me too much. Here's some stuff that varies in age but would still welcome C&C on any work, thanks.

No need to crit my text in some of them, that's what I'm trying to work on atm.

I can definately tell you use gimp, and that is perfectly fine. You are quite talented with it, and your able to shwo that we can be great artsts with or without Photoshop. I love most of these, they have such a great concept, and lighting is quite nice too :3.

This one is my fav out of your whole set of work, although the 1px border makes it looka tad tacky, perhaps a 3px half black-border would make it more appealing. But, your effects are quite nice, and the text is okay, but could be a bit better.

Nice job on all of them though, cant wait to see more .

Haha, actually I use Photoshop, but I still do kind of suck with it.

Thanks for the comment, and yeah I agree with you the text is dreadful in that one, I don't know what I was thinking, or if I was even thinking at all. Like I said though, that's definitely something I need to work on, I hadn't really though of the border before but I'm not really a fan of borders when they're any colour other than white or black for the same reason you just mentioned so I know exactly where you're coming from. Unfortunately I didn't see your comment before making this one!

I'm still not sure if I actually like this or not but at least the text isn't quite as bad in it.

A set (?) I knocked together recently. Thanks to some expert advise from Mitsuki I'd say this looks better than my older stuff fo' sho.

That is quite an improvement there, I was very surprised when you showed me this earlier. Glad I was successful with my explanation.

I love the color theme you used here. It's a mixture of different colors combined yet they go well with Lightning. The slightly blurred background complements the 'action' taking place by blast of tiny shard effects. It's good that you sharpened that. The text is simple but sometimes that's all it takes. I forgot to mention earlier that although the whole image looks clean, the effects can use a bit of cleaning up here and there, but it's nothing major. Overall I think you managed to execute this piece quite well. =] Keep it up!

I love this one alot! I'm soooo jealous!

Mainly because of the shard effects and the background, and font, it's amazing how simple font can make a sig look awesome isn't it?

Anyway good job, you're quite talented.
