Sometimes in life I am stopped in my tracks and exclaim how far gone our humanity is.. and others I'm reminded why I still care about people.

In life I try daily to keep a good head about people.. and thankfully there are stories people have that really make me smile.

For instance.. I'm going to post this video which really inspires me... and I hope you do the same.. if you have a story.

There are no words to describe what you're about to see. It's all about HIM!

A Son asked his father, "Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me?" The father who, despite having a heart condition, says "Yes". They went on to complete the marathon together. Father and son went on to join other marathons. The father always saying "Yes" to his son's request of going through the race together. One day, the son asked his fater, "Dad, let's join the Ironman together."

To which, his father said "Yes".

For those who don't know, Ironman is the toughest triathlon ever. The race encompasses three endurance events of a 2.4 mile (3.86 kilometer) ocean swim, followed by a 112 mile (180.2 kilometer) bike ride and ending with a 26.2 mile (42.195 kilometer) marathon along the coast of the Big Island.

I'm a pretty cynical dude. I've got a low opinion of people in general...

...but that's moving. Even if I had a story of inspiration to offer, I'd probably keep it to myself since following something like THAT would be tough. That guy's a beast. I just got done watching a news feature where a father threw his 2-month old son away in a garbage can, so this was refreshing.

Good to see. It's a shame stories like this don't receive more attention.
