Spoilers ahead, I warn.

Ok, so, I'm moving on with this :-)
I'm currently on Disc 3, with Rinoa and Squall. I'm on the Ragnorak, floating around in Space, for a bit background. I'm onto that bit where you have to kill the aliens in order... but I'm having difficulty. I checked a walkthrough and the recommended level for Squall was 64+. My Squall is only level 48, followed by a level 16 Rinoa. So, I'm basically asking... what should I do? Haha. Is there any hints and tips for me? I've heard of people completely the game on level 1 (probably due to clever junctioning...). Also, having no random battles to train off... it's deeming itself quite hard.

*is waiting for someone to explain how simple it is*

Thanks!

I'll just shift this to the help booth ^^ It's where we post FF help threads.

I think in the Ragnarok, just junction Rinoa with another characters junction setup, and she should be fine. Levels aren't important in this game at all - it's all about the junctioning ^^

It's really no problem...since the enemies are normally around Squall's level anyways. Any walkthrough that recommends you be at a particular level is really just blowing smoke. :awesome:

At any rate, the Propagators aren't very difficult, you just have to be sure to eliminate them in colored pairs. You'll notice once you defeat one, it lies down in the corridor but doesn't disappear. They only disappear if you kill their colored counterpart immediately afterwards. If you kill a different-colored one, the first one will be alive again.

A simple way to defeat them is to Junction 100 Death to your Stat-Atk...but if you don't have that, simply physical attacks will suffice, they aren't too difficult. :monster:

Yup as Stevie Knicks said levels wont matter in this game. The aliens are fairly easy, junction Rinoa well. If you want a quick finish cast aura on squall and have him use renzokuken, thatl kill him them in one.

Ah, I see. Thanks for moving it and the advice. I was thinking about doing that, intially! :-) I'll have a go. :-)

Like Ron said, do them in pairs with their colors. When you first enter the Ragnarok, kill the purples, then the reds, then the yellows then the greens. The 1st purple one is the on the bottom when you go down the stairs. The 2nd purple one is to the north (through the big door, not the small one), then take a quick left before the red one gets you. Go back to the red one, then the other red one is up the stairs on the catwalk. Then go back to where you entered the Ragnarok, to find a yellow one. Then go all the way back to where you found the 2nd purple one and keep going to the left. Then avoid the green one (he won't come after you) and go into the door to the left to get the 2nd yellow one. Now go back to get the green one. The 2nd green one is back where you fought the 1st purple one but go through the small door to the north instead. After that, you're all set, go to the bridge (where the 1st green Propagator was) and watch the scenes.

I generally do this around level 20, for both Squall and Rinoa. I usually don't have Deaths stocked up at this time, so I use different methods. I doubt you would have Pain spells, but you could use that as well, once again I don't have any of them yet either. I use Blind and Silence on them, this will completely cripple them. You can junction them to Stat-Atk or simply cast them. This is the method I use and it works like a charm. Best of luck!

They are not too hard...just use physical attacks combined with any effective junction you might have. Maybe use GF alot? at any rate, make sure you kill them in pairs or the one you killed before will just respawn.

Oh I'm stuck on this bit as well!
I didn't realise that you had to kill them in pairs, no wonder I was spending so much time there and not progressing at all D: mannnn.
