Lots of interesting things to see using Google Earth.

I love this program and the fact that I can actually see my house from it is pretty cool. It's interactive and you can upgrade it to 3D.

Does anyone else have it?

Oh I indeed do. On the top of the screen there's a button and when you press on it you can view the space! The galaxys, stars, planets. It's very possible to spot an Alien but NASA would do that before you

I have one alright. It's amazing. I checked out A LOT of places, including our old houses back then. xD

I really liked looking at the Great Wall Of China. The wall was laid out on the landscapes like a giant snake

I find the genocide areas in Africa that the Google Earth points out disturbing, though... So many people killing themselves over absolutely nothing, accomplishing nothing, and taking away the few homes in the area from the poor families that have nothing else...

I also picked up on this news story about a series of military barracks in Coronado, San Diego that was uncannily similar to the swastika. O:

But apart from that, I just like checking out Europe and other less...extreme(?) places.

EDIT: Too bad they don't update it daily or monthly or whatever. :(

Well right now I'm going to head over to Iceland. They say that a few people live there, should be quiet enaugh. I never saw the Amazone...

Yes I have google earth. It's pretty neat program. A little creep though knowing that anyone can find the exact location where you live. It was rather interesting checking out the area where I live. There is less forest land than I excepted.

I was checking out NYC and you can see the license plate number on the taxis. o_o

I do indeed have google earth. As a matter of fact, I'm looking at it now. I turned it on after visiting this thread.

I do use it... a lot, actually. Yeah, most of the time when I'm bored or when it's a slow day a work, I'll find myself checking out famous locations throughout the world... some areas won't let you zoom in close enough, :( pretty rare though.

It is pretty cool that I can see my house and car parked in the driveway as well as how much certain places have changed where I used to live.
