I recently purchased a PSP with the Sega Mega Drive Collection (awesome flashbacks hehehe). But now im looking for some good RPGS, as i wait for the new final fantasy 7 spinoff...any recommendations?

Breath of Fire 3: A classic PS RPG which is just brillaint.
Valkyine Prolife: Lenneth: Another classic PS RPG, dont you just love mutli region?
Legend of Heroes series: These are reat fun and I dont think that you have to play them in any order, which is coolio.

Breath of Fire III is a must, old-school classic.

Not a RPG itself but I would recommend Disgaea when it's brought onto the system, if it's anywhere as good as the PS2 game then you're onto a winner there. Nippon Ichi make the best Strategy RPGs, no arguments.

BoF and LoH are the only good RPGs. VP isn't that great... Its sort of like an RPG-Castlevania.

Should've bought a DS.

The Legend of Heroes series are top notch.

Or you can get PSone games running on the PSP so you now have RPG's like, FF 7-9, Vagrant Story, Parasite Eve etc..

BOF3 is a good game too, you should find a copy of that game very cheap.

I have a PSP. You can up/downgrade soft and download games from web.
Vagrant story, VP , Lego SW 2 is RPG a bit too.

Breathe of Fire III is probably the best. I have it on PS1 and PSP :smartass:

I have quite a few (Valkryie Profile, Tales of Eternia, Breath of Fire III, Untold Legends, and possibly Monster Hunter Freedom (well, it DOES have RPG elements). At the moment I'm currently playing Valkryie Profile and am loving it. Sure the battle/town view is like a platformer but that's not to say the battle system is bad.....far from it. It's actually very easy to pick up and play as each character is controlled with one of the 4 buttons. It also has 3 different endings, lots of characters to play and a bonus dungeon that you get after playing on hard.

Its sort of like an RPG-Castlevania.
Speaking of which: Dracula X Chronicles! When it gets released....

Symphony Of The Night isn't an r.p.g. as such but it does have exploration and levelling-up/upgrading so you might find something in it. Tactics remake is the one I'm betting on to finally make me take the plaunge and buy a PSP, co-op and versus multiplayer could be awesome. Breath of Fire III's been mentioned already, and for good reason. Tales Of The World could also be a good blast if some of the other Tales games are anything to go by.

I have Tales Of Eternia, Popolocrois and I should be getting Final Fantasy I and II when they're out in the UK. I can't wait to play them, especially with the the new graphics.

FFT Remake.
Vlakyrie Profile Lenneth
Legend of Heroes 1 and 2
Final Fantasy 1 and 2 were remade for the PSP also.

Hm...I'm currently playing Jeanne D'arc, and I find it pretty fun. ^.^
It's very easy to play, and it (sort of) follows the story of Jone of Arc.

I also bought a game called Spectral Souls. I haven't played it yet, but the reviews for this game are all really good.

There's another game that I've read lots of reviews for called Brave Story; new traveler. It seems to have a lot of really good ratings. Unfortunately, it's pretty pricey though. =x

Tales of Eternia is good, and Breath of Fire's alright too. Also, if you make it so you can get PS1 games on your PSP...well, there are many more open doors. =]

I dled Brave Story and its pretty good but not beat it yet :),Bof3 is a must,VP is a great game which ive beat,LoH ive just recently started and of course FF1 and FF2 which is a bonus for the psp :)

Popolocrois is a pretty good RPG for the PSP. I havnt had a chance to look at or buy any other RPGs for my PSP yet. I have heard that Valkyrie Profile and FF 1 and 2 should be good since they updated the graphics and everything.
