Good Final fantasy reads

Hello all! So I'm a very big final fantasy fan. I grew up with the SNES versions and have always loved the games above any other series. Today as I browsed the same things over Final fantasy subreddit I realized I should search out a big FF forum to get into so I could talk to others about something very special to me. Also forgive me if this doesn't belong in this part of the forums. Anyway onto my question, are there any good FF manga or other types of reads out there? I've only ever stuck to the game and would like to expand on it. Any information would be awesome, thank you!

There are some novelisations out there but sadly most are only available in Japanese. Which, if you're like me and British with little grasp of any other language, kinda sucks. There are a few connected to Final Fantasy VII that helps bridge the gap between the original game and its movie sequel 'Advent Children', that come with the DVD or can be found on the net but unless you know the games story you'll get a little lost.
