Help "good" Chocobo's.

So.

I can't be bothered searching through walkthroughs and i can't remember which area has good chocobos.

I'm in the Mideel area, and all i seem to find are "Hmm this one's not bad" and "Great" Chocobo's.

Help?

You may wanna try the chocobo tracks near Rocket town North of the town i think?
also the track on the wutai continent in the South, try equipping to Chococbo lure materias?

Damn people who give wrong information.

Good Chocobos are found around the gold saucer area. Great chocobos are found near Mideel. Wonderful are found near Icicle Inn. Also having the chocobo lure materia is a good idea.

To breed a blue or green chocobo you need to breed great and/or good chocobos together with a carob nut. Then you will need to mate the two together with another Carob Nut and get a black chocobo. When you got this far catch a Wonderful chocobo and mate it with the Black Chocobo with a Zeio Nut. That will get you a gold.

Anyways here are a few tips.

A) Racing your chocobo at the gold saucer and winning raises its rank. This also helps to successfully breed a colored chocobo. The higher the rank the better. Ranks : C, B, A, and S.

B) It is VERY wise to save before you breed two chocobos. If you don't get the results you want reset and try again. It is a pain to wait for them to be able to mate again.

C) Carob Nuts can be stolen from a red dragon enemy near bone village. When you see its name you will know why I don't write it. Anyways my favorite spot to find him is on the green (He doesn't appear in forests or Snow).

D) Zeio Nuts can be stolen from Goblins on Goblin island. The island itself is on the top right side of the map and you can easily land on it. You can steal them or they can drop them.

E) Also if you have a mastered ALL materia then sell it. You will need a lot of money.

F) There is a guy name Chocobo Sage who will sale you some good greens North of Bone Village and west of the Forgotten Capital.

My Lure materia is mastered i never take it off untill i've done the chocobo breeding side quest, i just forgot where good chocobos were. As for the Wonderful ones, that was helpful! i totally forgot i needed to breed one with a black boko! lol

I think Rocket town does have good ones, but with a lower encounter rate if you know what i mean lol.

Try the northern continent. Best case scenario is a chocobo with 2 jumpings.
