Sony has confirmed that the forthcoming God Of War Collection on PS3 will include access to a playable demo for God Of War III, reports Gamespot.
Announced earlier in the month, the God Of War Collection will include upscaled versions of the first two PS2 games in the series, featuring 720p high definition graphics and Trophy support.
Anyone purchasing the title will get a code to download the God Of War III demo from the PlayStation Network. The playable sequence will be the same demo as shown recently at E3, Comic-Con and the Penny Arcade Expo.
Priced at $40 (£25), the collection will be released in North America before Christmas, but it was recently suggested that it won't reach Europe until next year.
God Of War III is scheduled for release in March 2010.

I remember reading about the remakes of GoW and GoWII when it got announced at the beginning of month, or some time around then. I was surprised to find that GoW and GoWII would have trophy support mind, though it was a very pleseant surprise. I can see the demo being a timed thing though, all it is it to get the sales up, though I intend to get them purely so I'll be able to get into GoWIII easier.

Well i will be getting this as i love god of war, i know the story from the second GoW onwards. So this will be a great help to me as i want to find out the story from the first game.

When exactly does it come out? I haven't found any new information on it at all.

I don't use my PS2 anymore because i don't have games for it and i would like to get those games again for the PS3.

I think there's a pre-Xmas release in the US, but for everywhere else in the world they have to wait until next year. You'd assume that its release elsewhere in the world would be around January if they're planning on having a simultaneous release for GoW3.
