GFs

Well i would have gotten them all but i accidentally went to Ultimecia's castle thinking i could just go back if i wanted.. and to my surprise i was WRONG. So i missed out on like 5 GFs i think it was.
 
i got every single one:D go me!!! but the tonberry one was god awful for such a task. took me half an hour to beat it for that weak summon. but call shop was a good skill
 
Also being a completionist, I got all of them my first play through. Though I will admit I found out about Tonberry online.

Hey, if you include chicobo, phoenix, odin and gilgamesh then i think you should also include moomba? I got all of them, including those special summons.. Moomba being my favorite, LOL.. rawrrrrr!!! XD

For those who didn't know, the item "friendship" summons Moomba that deals defense ignoring 9999 damage to ALL enemies. friendship can only be acquired by importing your treasures from chocobo world to ff8 world. you can only play it (chocobo world) if you have a pocket station or a pc version of the game.

My first play through was when I was a kid and I didnt know how to draw GFs, I never did beat it I always have a fear of fighting the final boss...
My second play through I got them all except for doomtrain and Eden. I guess I just got lazy.
I just started my Third play through and I am going to get them all, no matter what.
 
I"d gotten them all, Man, was I ever relieved when I finally got DoomTrain. He was so damn hard to figure out how to get on your own.

Odin being killed by Seifer and then being replaced by Gilgamesh was mind blowing too. To me, that moment finally made Seifer a frickin bad ass in my opinion.
 
I think I got them all except for Pandemona, Doomtrain and Eden. I will have to go back to double check. Haven't played this game in a while.
 
I got all the GFs. Diablos is kind of a pain though since the stronger you are the stronger he is, so there is no real easy time, I just did it right away, while it was weakest (even though the party wasn't awfully strong at the time either...).

I hate it when I get Eden boosted really close to max, like 200+, then I miss-time a press then it drops all the way back down. >_>' Fortunately you get a lot of time though, so I can get it back up a decent ways. =P
 
i must admit although ive aqquired all the gfs the hardway only ONCE have i ever aqquired eden the hard way :P it was a bugger to get through all those battles!
the gf i used the most was shiva as i found combining her with squall (which ive always personally done) there compatability is pretty high, and only when i realised how useful siren was did i start using her much more often ESPECIALLY on those propegators u get on the ragnarok!!
 
some of these Gf's just dont inspire you to remember them but you need them to be powerful .....mostly.......or if your a completionist, I mist more of them than I care to say on my first play through all those years ago but thats where EXP comes in to it you learn and you better yourself!
