Getting Robbed at ZoZo

Lol did anybody else make the mistake of sleeping in the inn at ZoZo? I was running low on health after training for a while, and i didnt think that i would make it to the world map without dying.. I saw that there just happened to be an inn strategically placed beside me... Fucking thieves! After the screen went black and a message popped up saying you have lost so and so amount of gil, i was like WTF, and went and tried to get my gil back....

FFVI is so epic. How much gold did you lose? If I remember from the SNES version, he offers to let you stay for free, so the theft is really the price of the inn, if you will. I do remember it being a bit more than a standard inn, but not too ridiculous. You'd probably have gotten your money back faster fighting random battles than puttering around the inn, with experience to boot.

I don't think I risked stopping in the inn at ZoZo because it was such a freaky place, and I think it says somewhere that everyone in ZoZo or liars and thieves? The kinda told me to just go in and get out as fast as possible. xD

I think I stayed once though, after being warned not to, just to see what happened, and then they stole 1000 gil

I think I stayed there once by accident after I had already been there for the story. I needed to heal and Zozo happened to be the closest town at the time. It was no big deal though considering how quickly I got the Gil back from fighting random battles. But Zozo in general really annoyed me.
