Ok I am going to give my two cents in what I think that they should do for the next Final Fantasy VII anniversary, I would like for the to remake the whole game (as in the first FFVII) but seeing as I love this one more than I do the others they should start it out with Zack's story, then go through with the first story.

The fighting style should still be the same as Dirge of Cerberus and Final Fantasy XII, where you can see what you are about to battle while walking the map.

But the point that I am really wanting to get at is, when the next anniversary comes around they should make a new game with everyone (of course) and bring back sephiroth in his true power. Not like in Advent Children where his power was only barely tapped, and in Crisis Core where again only barely part of his power is touched. So they need to bring him back as a whole no people like Kadja and him only coming back in the very end like in the first game.

No Make it all about him none stop action and destruction of the planet. Well that is what I had to say about how I want it to be done, but that is just me. You think otherwise? Go ahead and say what you want.

Hmm, your post seems pretty pointless to me, but i'll take it from here. lol

The future of Final Fantasy VII you say? Well, what I would like them to do, instead of making movies and sequals, just remake the entire game with voices and better graphics, that's all. Crisis Core let me down a bit, the movie was average, dirge of cerberus was a waste of my £40 for the 8 hours it took me to complete...

A remake would be really cool....but I dunno there has been a lot of changes to the orignal story since the compelation has started. I fear that a remake would just butcher one of my favorite games in terms of story. It would be really sweet to see Cloud and co. in PS3 type graphics. Voice acting would be pretty bitchin too.

The voice acting would be really cool I think, and maybe it would help speed up the really boring scenes, for example the Nibleheim Cutscene when your in Kalm... And we sorta know what to expect from their voices so it wouldn't come across as such a shock when we heard them speak... Barret just shouldn't sound like Mr. T!

am I the only one who would like the see a sequel? Personally I think it would be cool if SE made a remake AND a sequel. In which order I dont know.

Yeah, but the Sequel is technically the Movie, matey. It is set two years ahead of the event in VII... Besides, they can't really introduce a new bad guy in this sequel so who would be the villian? Sephiroth still? Is the any point in trying to kill him?

Nah, just a remake would be cool for me.

Not Sephiroth. Dont forget, I believe Genesis is still alive. You saw him at the end of DoC. I think it would be very interesting to see what he is up to.

I don't remember seeing Genesis at the end of Dirge of Cerberus??? Does he have much of a role, I can't remember?

I too don't remember seeing him at the end of DoC.

Now I am going to have to play the ending again to see it.

If they did make a remake, I would love to see Super Nova and all the other magics and summons with the ps3 or 360 graphics! that would be soo cool. I could spend hours replaying scenes in my head from FF VII but with updated graphics....

Yea I always imagine playing FF VII in my head with all the great graphics and voice overs.

They should make an FFVII compilation game on the wii, playing a series of child friendly mini-games starring President Shinra, earning enough money to buy Jenova on Ebay.

In the begining, a brief cutscene plays with Hojo and all the rest of the shinra head honchos over many discarded blueprints. They discuss the future of Shinra, where to go next in the field of human enhancement.

A mini game plays, instructing you to shake the Wii-Remote as fast as you can to fill a light-bulb over Hojo's head. After completing the mini-game, Hojo decides to search the internet for cells of ancients. The first result on Google is E-Bay, reading: "cells, i dunno, looks like an ancient to me lol". The current bid is 50,000,000 gil! The user bidding this large amount was screan named "ffvi-rox-mai-sox". With so little funding sent to his research, Hojo dispatches shinra grunts to complete tasks for money, ranging from small paying easy jobs, like selling flowers in the slums to high paying difficult jobs, like selling "Flowers" to lonely men in the slums.

After raising a sufficient amount of money, for the last 10 minutes of the game is an epic bidding battle between the E-Bay accounts "Mojo_Hojo" and "ffvi-rox-mai-sox". The latter revealing himself to be Kefka, trying to stop Jenova from getting into Shinra's hands and reversing the creation of FFVII.

There are 5 endings. In 1, you win the bid, and FFVII goes on like usuall. That's the bad ending.
In the second, Kefka wins the bid and FFVIII becomes FFVII. that's the bitter-sweet ending.
In the third, Kefka goes forward in time, killing Lucrecia, and makes Shinra the main badguy throughout FFVII. That's the excellent ending.

The other 2 endings are choice based, Kefka goes forward in time to challenge Sephiroth to a duel. You choose who to play as. Whoever you fight, their final boss music plays in the background. If Sephiroth wins, FFVII happens, but meteor hits Gaia.
If Kefka wins, FF7 happens, but Kefka becomes a recurring final boss in VI and VII.

No offense to FF7 fans, of course. Just a joke. >.>

just remake the entire game with voices and better graphics, that's all.
Thank you! I agree. I mean, I've enjoyed the Compilation. Crisis Core is an amazing game, Advent Children is one of my favorite movies, and Dirge of Cerberus is just plain fun. But I just want a remake. I just recently finished VII and it's an amazing game...but a game like that with today's technology would be just freaking amazing.

I too don't remember seeing him at the end of DoC.

Now I am going to have to play the ending again to see it.

Its a secret ending, here it is for everyone who can't be screwed playing DOC again

Anyway, I'm kind of undecided as to whether I want a remake or not. On one hand it would be pretty cool too play FFVII with better graphics and voice overs but on the other hand they would almost definitely change certain parts of the game to include references to Genesis and all the other new parts of the story that were not in the original and considering I can't stand any of the new parts it would be kinda shit.

As for a sequel, I guess I wouldn't mind one as long as it was of the same quality as a numbered final fantasy game, in other words I would want a complete RPG rather than another spin off which can be finished in a few hours.

I've been itching to see a FF7, FF8, and FF9 remake for PSP (to continue where the FF for Advance left off)...

But, anyways, I predict at least a few more FF7 spin-offs (maybe one revolving around Tifa or Aerith, before the events of the original FF7 game?)

Well now I know to get all of the G reports and just go crazy at the end and see the secret ending.

Thanks everyone for telling me. I mean G had to help his brother since of course there is a secret ending to Crisis Core where Nero and Wiess come and get G after the battle.

I think it would be nice to see an update in the graphics and better CG scenes.
But honestly, id much prefer them put in the time to realize FFVI in full 3D, not on the DS but on a more powerful system. But that is just a dream im sure.

I think the next FF7 game should be a continuation because the secret ending of DoC shows Genisis pick up Wiess and fly away. So the next game should have Wiess at full power and Genisis there too. If thats true I think the new game should be for XBOX360 or PS3.

Lolz. Another less then half-decent spinoff.

It should stick to the remake, and leave things their. DoC wasn't well received by everyone, critics and fans alike. Risking another half-assed sequel/spin-off would just get the same reception.
