So, we all like FF and we like to talk about it with friends or family and whatnot. But sometimes, said conversations can ensue moments of hilarity. So the idea of this thread is to comment and post said conversations.

Here's mine between me and my good friend Dark Needle.

Me: Hey, dude, I just got FFVIII
Him: Really? You should've gotten IX
Me: Eh, another time. I want VIII because it has romance. :D

*Two days later*

Him: Hey, girl. How's FFVIII going?
Me::blink::blink::blink: Where's the romance? Do I have to endure this torture of a leveling system to get to it?

Him: Lulz! Pwned! I told you to get IX!
Me: :dry:>_<
 
The funniest would have to be the "conversations" (i.e. stupid online debates) that weren't funny at the time. About an hour after I've argued something, I realize that I'm freakin' arguing over a video game and laugh at myself.
 
I think me and Bustersword07 have had our share of conversations. My favorite was when we were really into X when I was playing it. We were talking about the characters, and I think we got talking about how Jecht would be in real life. We both pictured him drunk off his ass all the time. My sister watches us and listens to what we're saying, and she says, "It's just a freaking game!" Then me and BS crack up. Truly hilarous.

Yeah I saw that earlier. That's either 1) a non-committal confirmation of a Final Fantasy VII remake or 2) an elaborate way of saying "play Final Fantasy VII again, knob". Either way, it's pretty much Tetsuya Normura's way of unzipping his belted-up, leathery pants, whipping out his dick and slapping you in the face with it.

Okay, new one. This just happened last night. I was playing FFXII with Bustersword07, and I was heading for Garif Village. He was so tired. He looked at the screen and said "Okay, so you're heading to Giraffe Village, right?" or something like that. And he completely had no clue he said Giraffe instead of Garif. it took him a few seconds to realize it. I was cracking up!
