My mistake, reading fail on my part. :lew: It was a while ago when I posted that, but I think the point I was trying to make is that it outsells the systems of the same generation (aka PS3 and 360). And it just so happens to outsell its own previous generation consoles. Still interesting numbers.

I would say Pokemon is a game that was just overdone as far as new installments, and because it's fanbase is similar to that of FFVII. :hmph: At least Mario and Zelda games were born with the original system and made their sales the hard, long way. :hmph:!
 
yeah Call of Duty is what I was talking about. People are saying how mario or zelda is done to death etc but they don't talk about the sony or xbox games that are done to death like call of duty
 
Call of Duty talk in a Nintendo thread? Bold. xD Apologies, I assumed it probably had something to do with Nintendo, but the franchises mentioned after that should have made clear otherwise. >.>
 
I was defending Nintendo because the person above me was dissing on my mario, zelda and pokemon >:C

Thank you, then, because Super Mario, Legend of Zelda, and Pokémon are all great video game franchises. :)
 
I dunno how Spyro is done to death, pre Frodovoice it wasn't a game that often got new released, I think there's only... 5 or 6 games before Frodo? :hmmm: Spyro the Dragon, Gateway to Glimmer, Year of the Dragon, Year of the Dragonfly and Hero's Tail if i'm not mistaken.

Crash on the other hand I can see the point, with it's spin offs into others genres in recent years :hmmm: Crash Team Racing, Crash Nitro Kart, Crash Bash, Crash Twinsanity etc etc, I did like the original 4 though :ryan:
