*Falls over and thinks of a way to express myself*

I don't think my normal Boya or Woot will cover this exspeically a size 2 font one. So I have this.

WOOT

Now thats out of my system, I have read all the FMA comics and seen all the animes so I'm pretty stocked about a new series. I give it a big thumbs up. (and a oversized Woot)

Holy crap, WHAT?!!?!??!???!!!! @_@
I need a moment to take this news in.

This is very interesting... *strokes beard* We'll have to see how it turns out.

Just as long as they're not making it into a live-action, I'll be happy at least on that end! :3

*read the article* :gasp: No waaaaaay!!!!! Another season of FMA is coming out?! That's just awesome!!!! :fan: That's the first anime I ever watched (and it was awesome!) I just can't wait for it to air! *dies out of emotion!!!*

:ohshit: Oh my GOD are you serious!? This is like the BEST news ever!!! The manga rocks so much more hardcore than the anime does. I'm a huge fan of both, but moreso the manga. This is just beyond exciting!!! I can't WAIT!! Thank you SOOOO much for sharing this information with us Setsuken!! FMA fans all over the world must be rejoicing right about now, because I sure as hell am! :holyshit:

Oh my, something to keep an eye out for then ^^

But I have to wonder, does that mean it takes place after the movie "Conqueror of Shamballa"?

Since the movie takes place after the end of the anime series, I would think it's canon, but is it possible that the second season would disregard the movie and just start a new storyline or something?

The manga is the original story, not the anime. This anime series is taking after the manga, the original story. At least that is how I am understanding it.

Now, now, so a new FMA series, :holyshit:

THAT'S EFFING GREAT!

:ohshit:

Only that I don't have where to view it anymore, cause the only Anime channel was removed for some reason... -__-

Oh, well, will have to wait even more, but, :D

I hope the new series is based on the manga. I want to see Olivia Armstrong brought to life. (I bet that's the correct translation of her name, considering how it's pronounced in Japanese. Her name has been translated as Olivier, though.)

I didn't know there was a new series coming out until just now, when I saw that it was announced in the manga. (Hopefully that's a hint that it will be based on the manga story.)

I loved the anime story, but I just feel there are some things that are... lacking in it. I've also seen the movie. It was meant to bring closure, but I still feel a void in certain developments. I would like to see Pride, Ran Fan, and all of the other manga characters too. It would be great :)

Plus, Hohenheim isn't as pathetic in the manga as he is in the anime.

Wow, never thought I'd see this :D. My school has all FMA books volumes 1-16, and I read 17 at the local Borders. The extras always seem to be better than the last volume's (glances at Fullmetal Sensei) and I'd love to see Major General Olivier Mira Armstrong take on a Homunculus, particularly Greed. Lin was a weasel!

That's crazy exciting, I can't wait! Would it be connected to the previous anime though or just a fresh start from the manga?

I would kind of like to see it continued after the movie because that was the worst attempt at closure I have ever seen..but then again it may be hard to start a new storyline where they left it off. I've been wanting to read the manga...but it's expensive..and I've already been getting the fruits basket manga...maybe once that's over I can read it:)

They have released the first episode! http://animeblogz.com/fullmetal-alchemist-brotherhood-episode-1/ It has English subs! :D Now, don't go getting all upset because this basically just a filler to kick off the new, CONFIRMED, manga-based series. The 2nd episode will be the beginning of it all. Discuss.

edit: Also, Sylvanius, if you want to read the manga, you don't have to buy them. You can go to www.onemanga.com and read as much free manga in English as you want. :P Fullmetal is on there as well.

Thanks! That's great! All the money I'll save *sigh* I have all the fruits basket mangas except for the last one, which hasn't been released here yet, and I've just done a mental calculation of what that's cost me *shudder*

Would it be suggested that I read the manga first?

Haha hey no problem! If you can read manga free online, take advantage of it, right? lol Those manga books are so expensive. >.<

You know, it's totally up to you if you want to read the manga first, but I would recommend to definitely start reading it. The story is just so incredible. As for the anime, the first episode is more of a filler/ova than the actual manga itself. They're going to begin with the true manga story in the 2nd episode which should be out sometime next week. Hooray!

Saw the first ep a couple of days ago, and I loved it. xD The opening song is simply awesome (To be honest, I kinda like it more than Ready Steady Go). Still, I'm gonna watch it again once Funimation puts up their official subbed version later.

The 2nd episode is out! You can watch the raw of it here: http://animeblogz.com/fullmetal-alchemist-brotherhood-episode-2/ It's not subbed yet, but this particular link will eventually have it subbed. It's so exciting!!! I can't WAIT to see the new episode! I'm tempted to watch it even though it's not even subbed yet, but I won't have a clue as to what they're saying. xD I just can't wait! :gasp:

Cool they made a 2nd series? Oh Yeah Full Metal alchemist was one of my favs I loved it. But the first series did not really excite me like crazy. Im hoping the 2nd series will!!! I better get cracking on those episodes. Are the manga and anime the same cause I never read the manga...
