For those that don't know a sequel to the first game was announced, how or why i have no idea. If i recall correctly, Starkiller died in the good ending which is canon to the story. Has any more information been released as to why he's still alive?

My mind is still trying to accept the fact that this was announced. =/

Yeah, the death thing was the first to come to my mind. They should have left it alone. The story was already great, this sequel may end up ruining that.

I suppose there's always the possibility that he never died, I just watched the trailer then and he's lying on the floor so I think the best possible explanation is that he's not actually dead. Anyways, I'm glad there's a second one, I probably dismissed the game when I first got it then the trophy patch came out and I thoroughly enjoyed the game! :D

DOUBLE LIGHTSABERS??!! :gasp:

i loved the first one, i knew there was going to be a sequel, they couldnt let starkiller just die like that, but we all know he wont kill vader, so in the sequel, he will try, and when he confronts vader, he will be dfeated, and when vader is walking away, you see him move, then bam, Force unleashed 3

Go go gadget erection! :griin:

I loved the first game, and I think I'll love this one, ESPECIALLY the commercial I have just recently seen about it.

Starkiller comes and force slams Darth Vader into the wall. EPIC WIN. I was like "This looks win already!" I can't wait to see the story in the game and how Starkiller figures into it after both endings of the first one.

I think they are only going with the "good" ending for this. :hmmm: At least, that is what I gathered from the commentary they released on the PSN. I could be wrong, though...

The reason why Starkiller is still alive is because
Darth Vader made several clones of him, one of them that the player controls.

It'll all be explained in the second game.

That make's sense I heard different theory's
one was the Rebel Alliance made the clone but if Darth Vader made several clones of him it make's more sense cause it seem's like something Vader would do and I heard it was against the Jedi code or something for a Jedi to be cloned.

I can't wait to use the double lightsabers and I hope they have a couple of new force abilities.

Jedi can't be cloned. :hmph: So says Star Wars lore, apparently. I don't know for sure why not, but I would assume clones are not force sensitive or some such thing.

I've never seen the movies, but there is alot of rants about that online. Not to mention the commentary (yes, again) argues the fact he is a clone. :hmmm:

He's technically not really a Jedi, he's an inbetweener. It's the story, so you may as well go with it. And if soldiers could be cloned in Attack of the Clones, then I'm sure that Jedi/Sith can be cloned as well. If you see the trailers, you'll notice that there are several clones.

Are there any other reviews around?

I'd rather wait until it was released and see what the fans think. After all, with so much Star Wars around, it's no surprise any critic would jump at the chance to slate it.

I'm fairly sure Palpatine clones himself and his clone has force abilities in the EU, so I'm fairly sure Starkiller could be cloned too.

But that's like, way too geeky to get into.

I'll probably get this game, I enjoyed the 1st one, but didn't complete it before my cousin borrowed it. He completed it though and said it was an "alright" game (he's 30 :wacky:) I'm gonna grab my PS3 from home and replay it though. I was really getting into the first one before.

If I could do it without getting into my trouble my post would consist entirely of:

".....Really? :hmmm"

I never saw the movies, but I have played many Star Wars games and heard the tons of hear say floating about. That being said, I like to think I'm at least grasping basic lore.

At any rate, though, the game does seem rather mediocre compared to the first. There are plenty of parts where they aim for some scale of epic but either do to constricting areas to fight in and a lock on system that seems worse than the first one's it falls fairly short. It also doesn't help having someibe chirp in every couple seconds during a boss fight telling you how to beat it. Every minute or so, I can understand, but at this point I want to kill my "allies".
