I searched for a thread and there was only one in the music section, and this is about their TV show so I made a new thread. Anyways I used to watch it on BBC 4 and picked up the first season on DVD the other day in a sale. A pretty amazing show all around I think, any other fans?

i loved both seasons, i'm a little disappointed that there isn't going to be a third, especially with the way the second ended but at the same time i'm glad they have the sense to quit while they're ahead.
 
Pretty much echo what The Doctor said, love the show and some hilarious songs in it (Too Many Dicks on the Dancefloor, Robots, Frodo Don't Wear the Ring especially). I'm glad they decided to stop before it got stale. Plus some great supporting characters in it - Murray, Mel, Dave, Greg etc
 
I dunno I think they could have kept it fresh enough to give us a third season, though I am glad that it ended while it was still excellent. Could have done with a bit more closure in the final episode though
 
ok so that clip you tagged me in actually made me lulz. Except they're wrong about the accent thing, New Zealanders have one of the worst accents i've ever heard.

I've never watched flight of the Conchords before, I have seen tonnes of their music clips though. I think sometime soon I will have to start watching this as I do appreciate their humour!
 
After seeing District 9, South African is definitely the worst accent. Yeah it's a pretty great show, the humour is quite original and most of the songs are pretty hilarious. There's another episode where Jemaine accidentally sleeps with an Australian and naturally lulz ensue.
 
Their hatred of Australians is hilarious. One of Jemaine's quotes always makes me laugh:

Brett: "Did she look Australian?!"

Jemaine: "Not bodily, but perhaps in the face, yes!"

I saw them live at Wembley Arena and they were brilliant. Gutted that they won't be touring again.
