Fisherman's Horizon: various versions/remixes

I found a really good remix made by a youtube user for this amazing song:

This one is surprisingly good! It captures the calm emotion well even though it's a rock remix (which I often do not prefer).


And have you guys heard the official piano collections?

I learnt this song a year ago or so. I personally love the improvisation in the middle.



Let's not forget the official orchestra version too!

This one is lovely. The choir is priceless.



What do you guys think? Any other versions you would like to share?

I wasn't so keen on the rock version to begin with but it gets rather good 1 minute in! I love how the guitars resonate and sweep.

The Piano Collections version is quite possibly my favourite piece of music from FFVIII. I plan to learn it after Tifa's Theme.

The Fithos Lusec Wecos Vinosec version is pretty and well-arranged, but I prefer the gentility of the Piano Collections.


This one's quite pretty...but the first minute or so sounds like a hymn.

lonlonjp again! This guy is simple excellent. Easily my fourth favourite version of this piece (after Piano Collecitons, the original and Fithos Lusec).

The guitar is wonderful in this, but the...well, it sounds a little like a recorder (it's not as soft as a flute )...is a bit shaky. Still, it's another decent arrangement.

Quite similar to the version on Fithos Lusec, but it's always nice to see live versions.

I don't like that theme at all, I dunno what it is about it but it just annoys me. what is it, panpipes or some shit? either way i think i must be the only person that really hates this theme
