What was the first video game you ever played?

Mine was Super Mario Bros for the NES.

I think I started playing it when I was four. I had seen my brothers play it and I wanted to try. But I couldn't get past that first little guy that walked passed the screen and would always run right into him. XD. I think when I finally got past him it was the happiest day of my life up until then. But then I could get past that plant that would shoot fireballs at you.

Hahaha, that is the first game I played too. I was so proud that day I got my NES with that game. I was pretty young too, so it was rather hard doing anything, but my older cousin helped me a lot, and managed to beat the whole game. It was a day of rejoyce for all of us when that happened.

I also remember getting the game 'Duck Hunt' with the NES. In the beginning I think I liked that one more than Super Mario, it was much easier. :p

first one i played that i can barely remember is pitfall and frogger and some drag racing game on atari.. the first that i actually had was nintendo and loved playing bubble bobble and the ninja turtles games :)

First game i can remember playing was centipede on atari.

I think my first game was the first Sonic on the Megadrive :D I still see this as one of the best ever games made, and I suppose I owe a lot to it
I remember that I used to watch my sister play it all the time, then I picked it up one day and things lead on from there really...

My first game was Crash bandicoot on PS1. I loved that game.

Other than crappy old games on my PC when I was way little, the first game I actually owned would have been super mario world on the snes, since it came with it. It's pretty much been all downhill from there, since SMW is one of the greatest games ever made.

It was Sonic 1 on the Sega Master System, about 6 or 7 years old. I always had to say "SEGA!" whever the guys would before the main screen. It just became a habit lol!

Duck Hunt! I forgot about that game! That may have actually been the first video game I played.

The first game that I actually owned, since really all the NES games were my brothers, was The Little Mermaid for the NES. That game was badass. XD

That would be Mario Bros. from the very old Nintendo...you know, the one with the rectangular controller? I think I was around 4 as well, I'm not sure...I didn't really understand it, but I played alright.

Then there's Ninja Turtles, from the same system. It was fun since you can team up with another player.

Final Fantasy II for SNES. Ever since then I fell in love with the series. Gotta love old school~

Lol... Mario Brothers on the original NES was the first game I played as well. In fact, I remember my twin brother and I as kids staying up all night just to beat this game.

The next game would have been Mike Tyson's Punch Out! Which I still love to play to this day. :D

i think it was either crash bandicoot for the ps1 or a pokemon game...

Either way they both pwn - Crash Bandicoot is a truley amazing game and when i was in primary school it was THE game ^_^

and as for pokemon...well im sure some of you remember the pokemon craze? XD i was swept up in it too XD cant wait to get my mits on Diamond either XD i think ill import it from america ^_^

Everytime I answer this question, I end up giving a different answer. The reason: all those oldie games I played on the Intelevision blend into one mass of boredom.

I think the first game I played was Asteroids, but it could have been Pac-man, some baseball game, or the original Donkey Kong game.

Sonic the Hedgehog was the first game I ever played, which was for Sega I believe. I never had Nes, since when I moved where I am now I didn't even know what nintendo was, and Sega was like the newest greatest thing out there.
