I've seen some gameplay videos of the alpha testing. The battles look unbearably slow. I'm talking about like 8 seconds in between actions in battle. After playing through FFXIII, that really put me off. But that was alpha - hopefully it will be much faster in beta, but I still wasn't very impressed.

I don't know, there's something about Eorzea that isn't as pretty as I thought it would be. Ah well, I'm not getting this anyway. I can't stand playing MMOs.
