Final Fantasy XIV Beta Begins on Saturday [7/8]

Square Enix shared a final release date for the PC version of Final Fantasy XIV last week but did not give a specific date for long awaited start of the game's beta test. That update came today via the game's official Twitter.

In a post shared earlier today, the company listed a July 10 start date for the beta. This is a closed beta. If you're not sure if you're allowed to take part, you probably aren't. Those who are on the beta can already download the client at the beta tester site.

This Saturday....that's sooner than I thought. To those who are chosen to undergo the beta trial, enjoy it I guess. I suppose this does give enough time for bugs and glitches to be discovered by the players so SE can iron them out before the official PC version release date later this year. Now it's a case of when the PS3 beta will commence.

So XIV's for ps3 aswell!?!? I think that's a good enough reason to start savin' money... so what about the pc requisites?? I got an E-mail from SE sayin' I can download the beta r sumthin' and honestly I'm not too good with that system prequisites crap. If i post my pc model and data can sum1 lend a hand?? ( either way its all good......I'm gonna download it all the same!!) look forward to meeting you all on XIV !!
