Final Fantasy VII Riddles

Geez you guys it's not that hard, especially with the hints I gave you. But, it seems everyone is stumped, so here's the answer: the Soul Fire monster that is present when you fight the Gi Nittakghost boss in the cave of the Gi, in Cosmo Canyon.

Here's the riddle:

Hurting everyone around you
Hurting even you.
This spark of life will not cease,
Till all is dead and gone.

Can you see it now? Look at the third line. 'Spark of life' was a dead giveaway, since a soul=life and spark=fire. The fire of life. Soul Fire. the first 2 lines were to indicate that it was a monster. And it continues to attack the person it's 'in' until that person faints. Then it possess another one. The hints should have helped you. 1) it was a monster 2) where would you go to study the planet? Cosmo Canyon. Where do you find monsters in Cosmo Canyon? The Cave of the Gi.

I'll offer up another riddle. Here:

ahem, no it is not jenova. "Much to Ruth's horror"--think Babe Ruth. What would horrify him the most?

And Balrogs hoard--have you seen Lord of the Rings?
 
Ragnorak?Even though there was none in the begginign of the game, but its something odin would know about, and there was references to the end of the world and stuff.

apocalypse(ragnorak and apocalypse mean essentially the same thing)
 
OOO, you're very close. Actually, you've got part of the answer, Harbringer. Ragnarok and Apocalypse are part of the answer, but there's more to it.
 
perhaps then it is death, I just thought ragnorak because you mentioned both aht odin knows about it AND the end of the world.
 
No, not death or materia. You've got 2 pieces of the answer. I'll give you 2 guesses. 1) think item. 2) 'the horesman come' this is apocalypse. The 4 horsemen of the apocalypse. Ragnorak and apocalypse are the same, true, but in the game they are different.

with that in mind you might know how to decipher the rest of the riddle.
 
A poor guess perhaps but the item "Yggdrassils' Claw" ( or something like that, you get it from the F. COndor battles ) is sprining to my mind. It was an item and the Ragnarok was fought on Yggdrassil, the tree of life. It's the best I can come up with at the moment.:huh:

Materia has nothing to do with the answer. Or fort condor thing. (It goes into Norse mythology, but not that far.)

S2000Lncr, you got another part of the answer the Ultima Sword. Ragnarok, Apocalypse, and Ultima. They're all part of the answer, but it isn't the answer. You're very close.
