well here is my riddle:

Born in a fallen Eden,
Raised on spite,
Helping those similar,
With actions, no words.

Please post your reasoning, thanks.
 
Jenova. She rode to Gaea on a small meteor made up of planetary debris. She aids all of the SOLDIERs etc who have her cells within them
all of her dialog is actuallly the will of Sephiroth

I don'yt know about the raised on spite thing though, but she WAS a sort of virus
 
Then I'll say sephiroth: Midgar is the name of a Viking afterlife, i believe, but it has descenede into ruin. Raised on spite, could be about the whole wantng to kill everything thing. Helping those simailar, same as jenova. And I supose seeing as he used his will to control Jenova cells, that would be the actions no words thing.
 
good guess and I like the use of logic but no cigar

When you actually get it you will KNOW its the right answer, the riddle will fit like a glove.

Hint:
Its an NPC that speaks no words
 
OOOH! Thos cetra spirts in the ruins! they don't speak with WORDS, help Aeris, the last Cetra, and the ruins are the reamians of their fallen civilisation!

Pricislla. Where she lived once used to be nice but the pollution ruined it, she was raised hating the Shinra, helps those that wants to get back at the Shinra by giving them the Shiva materia.
 
How about Rude? Born in Midgar (maybe?), helps other Turks, doesn't say anything. That's the best I got.

At first I thought it was Seifer from FFVIII until I saw it was FFVII (Edea manipulated him - was thinking Edea was Eden, oops, he was spiteful of Squall, he only helps jerks like himself, and he doesn't like to talk much just slice people with his gunblade)

close... very very close... mind you it doesnt help when you come from eyesonff... I prefer the answer given by ~Reno~, it makes much more sence.
 
Oh, that's right it wasn't her it was the dolphin! His home has been polluted but it once was very nice, helps those that don't like shinra by providing a way to get to the city, and it can't speak. So the answer is Mr. Dolphin! (and no, I didn't look it up, if that's what you're thinking...)
 
Sorry, that 'incident' wiped out the riddle and some guesses. Here it is again:

maybe Sephiroth....he is trying to destroy the planet, and therefore are hurting everyone around him....doing so would hurt himself physically, and his spark of life will not end untill he has destroyed the universe

Hint: This monster is a minion of another.
