I've listened to this track many times yet I've never noticed this similarity before.

The beginning does sound like the core, most recognisable part of the Mission Impossible theme. It makes it fairly appropriate for a dungeon theme used in a library with seemingly impossible trials (with its haunted books)!

Not yet. But I think others noticed something like that so if I bring it it would probably be a classic entry.
