Now, the point of this topic is to discuss things/say things about Final Fantasy that don't really warrant a topic, for example:

I've been playing FFXII for the past 3-4 hours because I was incredibly bored after my nieces' Christenings. I was able to use about 1000+ License Points between all of my characters ^_^ I didn't cheat or anything ... *cough* and I now have all of my characters with level 3 Quickenings. I also got my first "White Out" and "Luminescence" concurrences today! Go me ^_^

Is it OK that I'm 50 hours in, all characters level 29/30, and I'm at the Phon Coast? No hunts, apart from the one Vaan does at the beginning, obviously.

Hmm...the last FF games that I played were FFX and FFXII. I left off in FFIX during the attack on Cleyra, and in FFXII, I left off where you just reach Archades. ^.^

FFIX is my favorite Final Fantasy. I play it more than any other one. FFVII is my second favorite, and I play it less than any other FF game that I own. ^.^

im undecided on whether or not i like FFXII yet so i tried to replay it...only problem is that i can't get into it...i guess that means i dont like it?

FFXII isn't a very romanticized story; there's a lot of depth in the storyline, but not enough solid information is presented. It's kind if...up to you to make it what you will. There are just as many pros as there are cons in this game, according to me. I especially disliked the idea of skipping through large chunks of story by having 15 minute narratives every now and again throughout the game. I did like the fluidity and complete control over the characters though. ^.^

I think we should be talking more about FFIX. Best FF game evar. ^.^
So many people were torn about the battle and ability systems, but...that's the last thing that I care about in a game. ^.^

The battle and ability system in FFIX was just incredibly simple. A five year old could figure it out. And it came right after FFVIII's innovative junction system, so to some people, I guess it may have been a let down. As far as the PSX's capabilities go...it just didn't amount to what it could have been. FFIX's ability system belongs on a SNES game. XD

Regardless though, I think it was the best game in the series. The story was perfect in every way. And I think Zidane and Garnet have the best relationship in the series. ^.^

Indeedy. And the FMVs? To die for.

I really like XII. I just love the battle system. It's addictive. I've now found out how Balthier is connected to the plot, so I'm happy he's not a pointless character :D

Does anyone else think that SE should make renders of every FF character in PS2+ FMV graphics? Like Cecil and Rosa have been. Rosa looks amazing.

I'd love to see the IX crew in better graphics.

Well it looks like with Dissidia coming out, we may just get to see some 3D renderings of oldschool characters! We already see a really great looking Warrior of light in the screenshots! Even though it's a PSP game, and the graphics aren't entirely pumped up like some games are, it's still something to look forward to. ^.^

I haven't played either IX or XII. I'm currently playing VIII (busy trying to get the Minimog card). I enjoy it, but somehow it isn't as appealing as other installments in the series (like X and VII). Nothing interesting has happened so far, but I'm a completionist and I want to beat every FF. I beat X first, now I'm gonna beat the PSX trilogy in order. And because of what Rhea and many other people have said I expect IX to be awesome. ^_^

I just dreamed last night I was Paine.. I'm holding that big sword and I'm with Rikku and Yuna in my village fighting with the Leblanc trio. It goes like I wait for my ATB to fill up and run towards those blue bastards(probably Ormi and Logos) and slashes my sword to them. even while someone else's attacking(I haven't played X-2 but I guess that's how it works isn't it) that was a nice dream. XD

Ooh, if I had final fantasy dreams more often.... mine are often weird and seem to involve kefka an awful lot

Im 42 hours in with 25/26 characters with all quickenings and stuck on a hunt rofl. I dont think it matters how long youve played for, as long as youre having fun with the game!

dreams are interesting isn't it? XD since I become active in this forums I tend to have more dreams about FF.

I wish I had FF dreams :( Then again, I probably wouldn't remember it even if I did have an FF dream.

*Bump*

I have a sudden urge to write an X-2 fanfic, in an attempt to not make it suck.

I've been playing FFX for the past four hours sphere-ing up. I now have Holy ^_^ 9999 damage all the time! Wahey! ... If only I had the Moon Sigil >_< I really wished I'd've known about all these at the start of the game. I would have collected them.

Most of my Aeons could be pwning things about now. But they're stuck at 9999 damage >_< At least Bahamut does more :D

I FINALLY killed that Reaver thing in Zanarkand, protecting the Hall of the Final Summoning. I then got to Yunalesca. Killed her first two forms relatively easy. I was low on health, and was in desperate need of healing. She had just used Hellbiter on me. So, what do I do? Mega-Potion ... suicide T_T

Damn you, Zombie! Damn you! Is Yunalesca's fourth form any harder?

By the way, when do I get control of the Farenheit?! >_<

ohh a fanfic. tell me if you finished working it okay? ^_^

I'm currently playing FFIII in an emulator. the original NES one and it's a fan translation. it's really outdated when it comes to graphics but for some reason I still enjoy playing it. haha I guess that's how an avid FF fan would really feel too. I'm now going into that mansion after obtaining that hover shoes from the sewers. I hope I can finish it soon.
