Final Fantasy Locations?

I have a question about the entire FF series.
Is each game based on a different country in the same planet, or is each game based on a completely different planet?
Is there any maps of the entire world or galaxy of FF that include every game?

I believe that each game is based on a completely different planet. Notice that when a map is viewed completely as a whole, you can see different continents and cities for that particular game map alone. So that is one world right there.

And so on and so on. Different maps, different worlds. Different games.

EDIT: I just noticed that you put "FFI - Final Fantasy Locations"...you WERE talking about the whole series, yes?

if your talking about the whole series, then its definitely based on different planets. we've got spira, gaia, ivalice...i cant think of anymore and im not sure if ivalice is even a planet or not but im assumign it is.

Hmm..yes, I agree with both of the above.
If it is the series that you're talking about, then yes, the world is based on different 'galaxies' of sorts.
I don't think there's any connection between each of them really.

I thought Ivalice was a country or a continent.

And I don't think it's true that they all exist of that same planet.

Ivalice is a continent, the whole of FFTA, FFT and FFXII is based on Ivalice, also the races of demi humans are the same in the two games FFTA + FFXII, thats the only connection I've since, theres also alot of connections with monsters and items and other things with the games. Like a chocobo or bahumut.

there all based on differnt planets coz if they weren't al of the main parties would meet up and probly not gat along
