Final Fantasy is losing to Farmville on the Escapist

Zynga... You probably don't know the name at all. They are the creators of Farmville and Mafia Wars on Facebook. The March Mayhem event on the Escapist website pits many great game developers against each other, asking the community to vote to see who is the best.

People started to talk about the event on facebook, specifically to groups who are serious fanboys of Farmville and anything else that that Zynga produces. Since then, Zynga has risen to the top, taking down every developer they face due the massive droves of Zynga fanboys rushing to vote.

It's round 4 right now. Zynga vs. Square Enix. The last thing I want is for Zynga to beat one of the industry's oldest and greatest game companies who deserve their place on the top, but Square is losing right now. We need your help! No body on the Escapist wants Zynga to win, but there are too many Zynga fans to beat.

Square Enix is less than 10 years old, so hardly one of the oldest. They're also shit, so don't really deserve much praise.

Plus, pushing it like this totally defeats the object of having a public vote.

Whats the problem if a farming game or mafia game beat Final Fantasy?? Good for them, I personally like those games, as do thousands of others on Facebook. Not everyone has heard or played a Final Fantasy. Plus they are free to play! And yeah SE are shit and hardly old.
