Final Fantasy Functionality

Hello to all those out there^^. i have a request for you all today. I have been given an assignment to analyze a game or game genre and find out what works well with it and what fails to be effective. I was hoping that you guys and girls out there could let me know your opinions on these games. Apart from the story im looking for functionality of the game itself; battle system, menu's, inventory, etc. hope to hear back from you all soon, i really appriciate the help^^

Any game in particular the older one FFI-VI or the turn of the cuenturu titles FFVII VIII XI
or the one s released in this decade coz some of them aree gems that have very little wrong with them and some of them bottom out and dont quite work as a whole
