Final Fantasy Epic Characters

Well of course, FFIX wouldn't have been what it was without Kuja! I just think that Garnet was more significant than Zidane was in regards to the story. In the bigger picture, Zidane and Kuja are way more important that Garnet is...just not...in the emotional context of the game.

Wow that didn't even make sense to me...

I guess I'll refrain from picking the main character.

FFVII - I'd have to say Aerith.
Not only was she a driving force for Cloud, but clearly, she also she played a vital role in the game.

FFVIII - Sorceress Edea. The whole sorceress ordeal explains enough.

FFIX - Garnet. Half of the game is really her journey as well...at least I think so anyway.

FFX - Auron. He's definitely an epic character. I mean, c'mon...he can ride Sin!

FFXII - Ack, hard one. Um, I'm thinking Gabranth. Really, when I think of FFXII, I am always reminded of the judges at first, particularly Gabranth...for some reason.

I agree with Mitsuki. ^.^

We all know that Ultimecia was supposedly in control of Edea from the start...Edea was a crucial part of Ultimecia's plan. Ultimecia decided to use Edea as her physical vessel because she wanted to get her hands on Ellone...and...what better person than Ellone's foster mother?
The only reason Ultimecia uses Rinoa, and even Adel as her vessels is because Edea is defeated and drained of her powers!
Without Edea, Ultimecia would have had to construct an entirely different plot!

Not to mention that all of the intricate details that we get in the game are given be Edea. Like who the white SeeDs are, where to find Ellone, where to find Dr. Odine...yada yada. ^.^

Eh, I think Edea loses her epicness after the first disc just because of that. Even when
you fight her at Galbadia Garden
, she doesn't seem as epic as she was in Deling City. Then once
she is freed from Ultimecia's Control
, she's just blah imo. :P
