I was not aware that there were any comic books for Final Fantasy.
I recall that I used to be very annoyed that smaller (and to me, less interesting) franchises such as Kingdom Hearts and some even smaller franchises get a lot of manga, yet Final Fantasy with all of its success and support / milking does not have anything like that out there. It always struck me as a bit odd that they didn't try and produce some manga of FF, even if it was unoriginal and uninspired (such as a retelling of the stories which already exist, rather than expand upon minor characters which people would love to see fleshed out - e.g Ultros, Don Corneo, Gilgamesh).
That said, I much prefer the style of the western comics, and not manga. I don't like the style of art that is used in manga, and a lot of the characters appear to me to be pretty much the same in appearance. The same could be said of some western comics, but I think there does tend to be more variety there, and there are fewer limits on what they choose to draw or represent. So when I imagined / daydreamed about FF comics, I always dreamed about Ultros comics done in colour, but with the characters (Terra etc) not looking like anime characters with standardised big heads, but done up like characters in western comics would be.
However, if this is about web comics then discard this entire post. I have seen some unofficial web comics like the VG-Cats (I think?) one. I don't know of many others but I can imagine that there are quite a few since FF is popular.
