Yeah Electric de Chocobo is definitely inspired by the surfer-style rock songs of the 1960s of which The Chantays' Pipeline is a very close comparison to the opening and general tone of the track.
It's also one of my favourite chocobo themes because of this style!
I'm not familiar with Pigdom Come, but that Foetus theme does bear resemblance to the Jenova theme but also in the style of quirky horror music such as The Twilight Zone or multiple theremin tracks from various movies and television shows of a similar ilk.
