Final Attack Materia

Hey,

I'm trying to find the final attack materia but I can't find it anywhere. Everywhere I've looked says that I can get it from a 'special battle' in the battle arena after I've got W-Summons and Omnislash.
I've got finally got those but the damned woman behind the counter won't ask me if I want to do the special battle... why ;-;

Did i need to speak to her before I left the arena again? If i did then what do I do now?

Go to Battle Square, buy ALL of the items from there, then you need to have atleast 60, 000 BP. Then you can fight in the special arena. Defeat EVERYTHING in the special arena, and Final Attack will be your prize.

Combined with the Phoenix summon materia, Final Attack can make you almost indestructable (I say almost because if you run out of MP, you can't summon)

Thats crap, you don't need to buy everything at all, just the most expensive ones that have 'Limit One' (W-Summon, Omnislash). Then you have to clear a run in the Battle Arena all in one sitting. After you have completed the Battle Arena (I think its only the once required but there might be a certain amount of times you have to do it) you'll get the option of entering a 'Special Battle'. Complete a run of this in one sitting and the prize is the Final Attack Materia. Complete it multiple times and instead of another Final Attack Materia you get useless novalty items like 'Dio's Diary' or 'Masamune' so don't be thinking you'll get another that way

Ok, well I've bought everything and I've gone about 12 games and still no other option... I don't get what I'm doing wrong ;-; isn't there another way to get this materia?

I think you need 64,000 battle points after buying both omni and W-Summon, just keep at it and remember if you leave, you lose all your points so will I have to start from scratch....

And no, you can't getit any where else so far as I nknow, the guide says you can getit from the chocobo races which is a complete lie >_>

Do you have Ultimate Weapon? Can't remember if you need that or not aswell.

from what i remember, u CANNOT and i repeat, you CANNOT leave the battle arena. you must complete it a certain amount of times.. 5 or 10? (around there) w/o losing a single one.

You need...

a. the hardest to obtain items
b. Ultima Weapon
c. to go through the battles at least 10 times without leaving or dying

Another note about phoenix...
If you put these on a defended character, it becomes more useful. e.g. tifa has Final Attack and phoenix, while Vincent and Cloud have cover.
This makes it more efficient, as it's only used when the two defending characters are either dead or incapacitated, and the defended character is killed. And so it heals all characters, rather than 1, with a bigger time gap between summons.

Or you could get another one and pair it with KotR.
