FFXIV Was Exciting, until...

FFXIV was probably the most anticipated game on my list this year.
I was just able to recently buy it for PC, and after a good 2 day wait to get the chance to install the game, the long installation wait, and the semi-long patching wait, I made it to the main menu where I watched the awesome intro.
Time to click start...
Loading...
*Square-Enix Logo pops up then gets distorted*
Screen goes black...
Game Crashes...

This was my FFXIV Online Experience. Such a letdown, after many hours googling, I come to find out that my computer's graphics card IS in fact above standards for the game, it's just not supported by the game itself...
So I have to wait a little while until I can hopefully enjoy FFXIV.
Don't you hate when this happens?

I hate this feeling too. When I started playing warcraft on my friends computer....and than I love it so much I decided to put it as well as the expansion pack on my computer....and the same crap except my video card wasnt good enough. I know what you mean...all the anticipatient just to be let down again.

My video card is about 4 years old and I can play both those games easily.

Update that shit, Christmas gifts work miracles in these situations.

Although I have an outdated processor, my RAM is high.

I have a 1 gig card. I find it seems more choppy then any game I have. despite how choppy it is i think rocks.
