Having a bit of trouble with him the second time around. Just finished grinding some cp before Barthandelus so my characters are pretty good.
Im using Sahz, Lightning and Fang;

Starting with Syn,Med,Sen
When were all buffed up nicely go in with Rav,Rav,Com to stagger him then i do massive damage with Light and Fang who both have 1500 str each.
The problem arises after the first stagger when he buffs himself and i just cant seem to outheal his damage with just Light and Fang and Sahz dont have medic.
Then i tried it with Vanille instead of Sahz for the extra heals (mainly curaja) but then i didnt get protect and shell from Sahz and got completely trashed by his retaliation when hes buffed.
Im going to try taking out Fang completely and go with Lightning,Sahz,Vanille but then i miss out on some massive damage.

Any clues as to what im doing wrong?
Appreciate any tips

If you want the advantage of tons of buffs as well as a good healer, i'd say just have Hope instead of Sazh and Vanille, since Hope has all the defensive buffs at this point and is second only to Vanille as a healer while being the best Ravager in the game too :hmmm:

If I were you i'd use Lightning, Hope and Fang and just focus on keeping HP as close to maximum as you can so you have openings to attack, make sure Veil is always on so his attacks don't interrupt healing.

When fighting, use agression first and after a few rounds, go for tri disaster/relentless assault to stagger him ASAP, unlike the first time I don't think you can prevent his limit removal. Also, I think he has the ability to dispel buffs so be ready to set them again and if you have the opportunity, use Fang as Saboteur to weaken him down.

So basically, for offense switch from agression to relentless assault, when he goes to limit removal switch between relentless assault and combat clinic and when you need to buff/debuff, use evened odds.

Hope that helps :hmmm:
