FFXIII Multiplayer

Hey, I pre-ordered the ps3 version of FFXIII and everything, but one of my friends wants it so he can play it with me online. He only has an Xbox 360.
My question is, if I have it on PS3 and he has it on Xbox 360 will we still be able to play the multiplayer together? Meaning is the multiplayer joined together for people with different consoles?

I wasn't aware that FFXIII had any multiplayer.

To answer your question though, no. PS3 users and Xbox 360 users can not interact through their different consoles, and you can not play games together, sadly.
