Tried using two commandos in a battle, but the one I'm not controlling never attacks my target unless it's the only one.

There any way of getting them to attack the party leader's target regardless of how many there are? Currently at chapter 9 if that matters.

I'm not sure, I think they act independently for most part as i've noticed this too.
Since Commandos are more for dealing damage than anything else they'll attack the other and have it whittled down by the time you get to it. But Ravagers tend to attack the same target as you to help you raise the stagger gauge.
In short, I don't know if you can change it, but I wouldn't think it's that bad since as I said they can whittle them down by the time you've got to them. :hmmm:

Ravagers are excellent for co-ordinating attacks, while Commandos are poor. I tend to avoid doubling up on Commandos, and only really do it against lone enemies when they are staggered.

It's a bit of a bugger really because in Chapter 9 (I think) when you are controlling Lightning, Hope and Fang, the double Commando setup seems like the natural choice, seeing as though Lightning is awesome as a Commando and Fang can't use the Ravager class.

I hate this :rage:

I thought I was being clever when I had both Fang and Lightning as commandos, then we'd come agains a group of enemies and they'd both be off doing their own thing, and I'd be like, NO WHAT ARE YOU DOING :rage:

TOTALLY ruined my happiness -__-

And tended to result in me dead. Which annoys. Greatly

The second part is the exact reason why I tried it. xD

Plus, I'm not a fan of Lightning as Ravager anyways, end up just using Spark strike constantly, or whatever the weakness is, just for the speed she has with the sword, normal casting is abit slow sometimes.

Sazh annoys me with how slow he is as a commando, why can't he just shoot instead of juggling his guns everywhere? The amount of times the stagger gauge as gone back to 100% because of this.....grr.

Haha! Is it rather annoying isn't it?

Against the Behemoth type enemies I find 2 commandos work really well in killing them befor they stand up and regenerate....and some enemies are better suited to being killed by a commando vs a rav....normally when I faced groups the 2 com's tended to kill everything off in quick time so it didnt realy bug me thet they didnt target the same thing
but I realy havent played arround with all the charecters I pretty much stuck with Fang, lightning and hope and only used the others when I had to

i like 2 commando's for multy targets.
Like if i get a back attack one commando can keep one target close to stragger while killing other with a commando and a rev. Among other type of things where 2 com is good.

I agree that they never attack the same enemy unless there's only one or some shit :hmmm: It was annoying to me too :hmmm:

I mean don't get me wrong, its a useful thing in battle and whatnot but it messed up my game when i tried staggering an enemy D:

i like Relentless assault though tbh 'cause i found that to be a bit more efficient :hmmm:
