Help FFXIII-2: Need beginner tips

So I just beat FF13 and enjoyed it a ton, so I plan on moving on to 2. What tips would you give to someone just starting the game? For example my tips for FF13 would be to not worry about upgrading equipment till chapter 11 and Farm turtles as soon as possible. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Umm, there's not much to recommend in terms of tactics for 13-2. All I can say is: spend a bit of time leveling in the very first area and just have fun. It's not supposed to be a challenging game if you just go for the main story so level up pretty much how you like and you should still be fine

one thing I would say is read up on the crystarium a bit, as it will help getting the leveling up right, also don't move it until you have enough points for one full level, and save before doing it. finally as a level up guideline, go up one crystarium level per a storyline aera and you will be fine and enjoy the game, your gonna love it

FFXIII-2 is one of the easiest FF games ever. There are almost nothing missable in this game except the crystarium optimization, which you can easily read from an online guide .

I'm a few hours in and so far I think it's great. Thanks for the advice. It's good to know I'm not going to need to spend too much time grinding not that I don't like spending hours killing the same enemy
