I fail at quickenings, and I need a step by step guide of what Im actually supposed to do, all Dave is doing is confusing me

There are multiple levels for each concurrence. You have to hit all of them during one quickening drive.

A concurrence is the finisher moves at the end of a Quickening Chain (Quickening Chain must have at least three quickening moves to start a concurrence).
This is the lists of concurrences and the requirement to obtain them

(Second Numbers of the equation is the Level of the Quickening, and the first is how many times needed to complete the listed concurrence)

Inferno 3x1
Catalysm 5x1
Torrent 2x1, 3x2
Windburst 5x2
Whiteout 5x3
Ark Blast 2x1, 2x2, 2x3
Luminescence 3x1, 3x2, 3x3
Black Hole 4x1, 4x2, 4x3

Obtaining the Judge Gabranth figure in your Sky Pirate's Den, means that you have completed the full list of concurrences listed above.

I will never EVER get that black hle one, that is insane, I have to get ALL those in one go?! Thats impossible....

Busta got it almost as soon as he unlocked 3 characters' full quickenings. I can't do it. I'm a fucking spaz when it comes to doing that... maybe if I practiced but I don't want to.

Ive had more practice than you can shke a stick at. So basically, I need to get Black hole to get Gabranth, or do I need to get ALL of them..... one after the other <_<

I think Busta actually got a Black Hole and then some how came back down to the lower tiers and got the ones he'd missed. Don't fucking ask me how... I don't understand it. I just remember him telling me that.

You have to get them all, in no particular order.
It's not that hard to get Black Hole. As you can replenish MP very quickly by using charge you can try again.
I got black hole by remembering what I had already done in the chain so far, ie 3 level 3 quickenings, so I had a choice, do the level three once more but not again etc.

The timer bar moves that fast though i dont always have time to charge, or the option doesnt even come up, by the time it does, im out of time. Or the one i want doesnt turn up, my biggest problem is how fast the bar goes though, if i dont have an option to charge and im frantically pressing R2 and it doesnt turn up. How do you people DO THIS?!

I've managed to get Black Hole a few times. To make things easier, try to use the 3rd Level Quickenings first, then 2nd and finally 1st. The latter is easier to make it appear. When Mist Charge appears, choose it, but don't always choose the Quickening that will appear afterwards unless you're low on time.

Believe me, Ive tried, I have actually managed to get 4 level 3 quickenings..but then it wont let me mist charge, I guess I either have to perservere or just give up. It gives me lightning bolt flash backs

I'm yet to get Black Hole. I tell myself not to do it, but I button mash and end up getting past Mist Charge. I would advise using a level three quickening first, then a level two one, then a level one quickening. Always take Mist Charges and never use three level Threes in a row.
