FFxii japanese version?

Hi all,

I was hoping someone could tell me whether the Japanese version FFxii (international) has full english script or not?

ive checked the box and can see that its voice supported, but my Japanese isnt really so great so i cant tell if im going to have a struggle on my hands playing through all the japanese text

They discuss this on the PSU forums and they don't even know for sure. I don't know myself but you can try looking It up on the FFFXII website. Sorry that I have no info.

The game itself is all Japanese, only the VA is in English for some stupid reason. Which sucks because this version of the game sounds far better than the one we already have ¬¬

aww...That does suck...big time

The mind boggles that they'd make a FFX with both, then only go half hog in later games.... I mean.. why even bother?!

...ah well, time to take out my kanji book again !!

It seriously isn't all that difficult. If you've played the English version, you would've got the general gist of the storyline. I've played imported Japanese games on the PS2 for quite some time now (consisting of the Kingdom Hearts Final Mix versions, which I might add, the characters have English voices, but the games text is Japanese) and have had no trouble with them at all.
Just in case you didn't know, the PS2 can't play games from other regions, unless you have a chipped PS2, or use other some other alternative.

Thats the problem sadly ! I live in Japan, and have never played the english version, so its all new to me ..and of course, i only have the J-PS2 (not chipped)
ah well. thanks for all the info though.

Are there any other FF titles like FFX that can be played in english or japanese?
