FFXI or FFXIV?

Does anyone know if Final Fantasy XI will still work after they come out with Final Fantasy XIV? Because Final Fantasy XIV is going to be online play again.

Square Enix has no intentions at the moment of scrapping FFXI once FFXIV comes out. The likely event is, both games will be coexisting at once until SE sees that FFXI is no longer a profit-maker.

As SE have announced new Abyssea add-ons for FFXI, it's safe to say that the game will still last for a little while.

At least that's what I assume you're asking.

i think they said that they are goin to keep it runnin and are still goin to make stuff for it but i think i remember seeing that when they did a interview

I was never into XI,so it makes me feel that its unpopular,so for XIV,which will may be the opposite,is definately better from the looks of it already,hope that the game will keep us addicted but not like world of warcraft its too crazy for nerds.
