Just a quick question about the Gillionaire ability. Does the person with the ability have to strike the killing blow? If not, what kind of involvement do they have to have in the fight? Would I get the multiplied cash in these situations? (Rikku is my only gillionaire person at the moment)

Sc1: Rikku does not enter the battlefield at any time.
Sc2: Rikku is on the battlefield at the start but gets replaced before taking part.
Sc3: Rikku is on the battlefield at the start, hits one of the creatures, then is replaced till the end of the fight.
Sc4: Rikku is on the battlefield at the start, but the creature is killed before she gets a chance to do anything.
Sc5: Rikku is on the battlefield at the start, hits the creature and is not replaced, and the creature dies while she is on the battlefield (but she didn't strike the killing blow).

Any info would be awesome!

Thanks

As far as I know, she just h as to be in the party that kills the monster...I'm not sure if she has to have a hit though, while I was training, I always made sure she had a turn, so I'm not too sure, try it out on a mimic in the omega ruins, t hey give you a decent amount of gil. Like, 50k I think, so if you have her in your party, and you get 100k, you know what works

Im PRETTY sure she does need to be in the party at the end of the battle though

Thanks Auron, I'll give it a go :)

While we're on the subject - are there any other ways to make gil quickly? Can you make decent amounts of money by customising items then selling them on, or is that not really worth the hassle?

I just trained in the Omega ruins on Mimics, not sure if there are any better ways, i found that effective enough though, I had about 10 million by the en d of the game, I guess it depends on whether you want to bribe monsters or use Yojimbo, I just ended up hoarding money I never used, I don't think customizing you're equipment specifically to sell it is worth it, it's not worth wasting the items

I've no idea if there are any other effective ways...

No.

No.

No.

Yes.

Yes.

As for quicker ways, customizing equipment is much quicker. HP+30%, MP+30% and SOS/Auto Regen are all very easy to customize and hugely boost the value of equipment. For best results, put just one of them on.

Thanks guys!

Auron - I need the cash so I can start bribing some enemies for items to customise weapons and equipment so that I can complete the game 100%, Monster Arena included (Something I've never done :) )

Killian - Thanks so much for that! I'm nowhere near the level where I can kill the Monster Arena enemies yet, I'm only up to Zanarkand in the game, so I'm about to get the airship, and can start making inroads towards that goal!

Can you go and kill Sin and then contine the game from then, or does the game end - I can't remember! I'd rather go and kill him now and then do the Monster Arena stuff if possible, because otherwise he'll be too easy! (My mate did the Monster Arena first and Sin was a complete anti climax!!)

You can beat Sin and still continue with the game, the game doesn't end at that point

You have inside Sin to travel through aswel, you can go all the way through up to the point after the area with the moving floor and theres a save point before some steps - I think it would be the 2 nd save point inside Sin...

Thanks Auron :)

So I can beat the absolute final boss, and still continue with my game?
I don't know why I didn't do that last time! *confused*

No, Sin isnt the absolute Final boss :)

That would be INSIDE Sin. Just aim for that second save point inside Sin, and if you go too far, just reload your game. You will know you have gone too far when your in some little field type thing having to collect some gay little orb efforts

I dont want to spoil anything, so Im know Im not making sense :gonk:

Ah, ok cool! The guide I'm using says I can complete the game, and then carry on, but I was sure that wasn't right as I've completed it before :)

I'll save my game just before I go inside Sin then do all the monster arena stuff, and once I've done that, I'll reload and complete the game as normal :)

Thanks!

Theres monsters you can collect from inside Sin, so if you want to complete the monster arena you will have to go inside - you can leave Sin after you have gone inside

Thanks :)

I'll have a look at my guide again then - I'm sure it will tell me when I can go no further back :)
